Senior Associate/Manager IFRS Financial Reporting Integration (m/f/d) Germany
We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to support portfolio company integration and group reporting.
Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich (www.mutares.com), as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.
Your Tasks
Manage the integration into the Mutares finance and reporting processes of our portfolio companies on-site and support the Operations finance workstream
Work closely with the CFO, the local finance team as well as the Mutares restructuring team on site and the Mutares Group finance team of the Holding
Manage the financial integration of new acquisitions into the Mutares Group (e.g. establish opening balance, manage PPA, perform IFRS conversion)
Manage and improve financial statement closing and other finance/controlling processes and at the same time establish a well-functioning finance organisation in the portfolio company
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit processes
Your Profile
Successfully completed a Finance degree or similar with outstanding results
At least 4 years of experience in management consulting or a Big4 consulting firm (both preferably with restructuring experience) or controlling/finance department of an industry firm
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with SAP or other ERP systems or LucaNet is a plus
Business fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate in a well-structured and concise manner
Willingness to travel up to 2 - 3 days per week and to work in an international environment
